Yoga & Meditation Foliage Retreat:
Enjoy Your Relaxed, Inspired and Playful Self

Slow to the world and reconnect to your wholehearted self with mindfulness practices, fresh locally sourced food, comfy accommodations and a spectacular landscape dressed in full color. Connect to your inner and outer landscape in a community of belonging. Join us for a yoga retreat at Jouvence, a unique retreat and nature center on Lake Stukely at the edge of Mont-Orford National Park.

We will lead yoga classes and meditations that are deeply nourishing, rejuvenating and fun, inviting you to reconnect to your spacious, inspired, and playful self. Afternoons will be a time to rest, journal, hike, kayak or enjoy a massage. Evenings will include a bonfire and restorative yoga practices. Celebrate yourself and join in the delights of this yoga and nature retreat nestled in the beautiful eastern townships of Quebec.

Be sure to pack your passport or enhanced driver’s license.

Retreat costs are based on accommodation options: single rooms ($525), double ($475), or triple/quad suites ($425).  Most rooms include a sitting area and balcony or walk out patio.

Friday
4-5 – Register, settle into room and explore the grounds
5-5:30 – Orientation
5:30-7 – Dinner
7 -9 – Opening Ceremony and Restorative Yoga Class

Saturday
7-7:45 – Fresh air pranayama and mindful walking
7 – 8:45 – Breakfast
9:00-11:30 – Yoga and Meditation (with break for tea and snacks)
11:30-12:30 – Open time – hike, canoe, rest, write, read, enjoy a massage
12:30-1:30 – Lunch
1:30-4:00 – Open time
4-5:30 – Yoga and Meditation outside or in La Rafalle
5:45-7 – Dinner
7-8:15 – Bonfire (share a song or story)
8:30 – 9:30 – Yoga Nidra

Sunday
7:00-7:45 – Fresh air Pranayama and mindful walking
7:00-8:45 – Breakfast
9:00- 12 – Yin Yoga and meditation and closing gathering (with snack and tea break)
Noon-12:30 – Pack-up
12:30 -4 – Lunch and free time as you like….journey home

What to Bring

Yoga and Nature Retreat: What you will need to bring
– Passport or enhanced driver’s license
– Two grey blankets and bolster: Pick up at Evolution by 2 on Friday
(or after Thursday morning’s yoga class)
– Your yoga mat and blocks
– A song, story or poem to share at the bonfire (instruments welcome!)
– Object for our community altar
– Journal, pens and if you like art supplies
– Layered clothing for yoga, walking, or sitting by the campfire
– Check the weather before packing. It can both be chilly at night and warm in the day. Even a hat!
– Camping chair or something to sit on outside
– Rain gear
– Bathing suit (maybe the lake will call you?)
– Walking shoes
– Headlamp or flashlight
– Curiosity, self-kindness, humor, yourself!
– We encourage you to turn off cell phones when you arrive

Meals

Jouvence prides itself in preparing fresh seasonal food that showcases local cuisines and products. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet style.  Delicious fresh fruit, pastries, a selection of local cheeses,  juices, coffee, and tea are available between meals.  All food is included in your stay.  Wine, beer, and mixed drinks may be ordered at meals from the serving staff and are not included in the retreat rate.  You may bring your own wine or beer for personal consumption in your accommodations.

Sauna and Spa

The Sauna and Spa (outdoor hot tub) are available for use during the retreat weekend.  Times will be booked for the group on the morning of each day and will be posted for participants.

Cancellation Policy

Registration for our Yoga and Meditation Fall Foliage Retreats includes a non-refundable $50 registration fee. A full refund, minus the registration fee, will be given for cancellations given at least six (6) weeks prior to the retreat start date. A 50% refund will be given for cancellations made at least two (2) weeks prior to the retreat start date, minus the registration fee. No refunds are made when cancellation is made with less than two (2) weeks notice before the retreat start date.
