21-Day Meditation Challenge – Day 12: Window and Mirrors

21-Day Meditation Challenge – Day 12: Window and Mirrors

“I used to live in a room full of mirrors,
All I could see was me.
Then I take my spirit and I smash my mirrors.
And now the whole world is here for me to see.
Now I’m searching for my love to be, Hey!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!
All right!”
Jimi Hendrix

You have probably heard that the eyes are the windows to the soul. They are also our windows to the world. And they are the mirrors of the world, and the mirrors of the soul, through a special kind of perception and reflection.

Look as far away as you can possibly see, to the most distant star or planet. Become aware of where your eyes touch the air. Imagine that you could reflect that celestial light being as deeply within yourself and see all the space between your star and your eyes within you. See the expanding space that exists within your inner self.

Look around at the stars in your universe, they represent infinite possibilities. Which ones catch your eye? Which ones twinkle at you? Rest in the vastness of inner space. Create a refuge for yourself. Your potential, your shelter, your dreams, your being, your soul, are alive inside you at all times. Like the stars, they are always there, even when you can’t see them. Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.
