Andrea Trombley PT, DPT, E-RYTTweet
Dr. Trombley has been sharing her love of yoga, breath and stretching since she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2012. Initially, yoga was a way to keep her own body flexible and strong in order to treat her PT patients. She now incorporates yoga into her PT practice, and enjoys teaching workshops and series addressing specific areas of concern, such as the low back, the shoulders, the hamstrings or teaching about osteoporosis and menopause. She enjoys using props and talking about anatomy whenever she can.
Dr. Trombley’s classes focus on alignment, stretching and her favorite yama – ahimsa (non violence toward others or self). You can join her on the Yoga Wall every Monday from 4:30-5:30 pm. She also teaches a Yoga for a Healthy Back 6-week series, and various workshops throughout the year. She is one of the lead faculty in Evolution’s Yoga Therapeutics for Healthcare Providers courses.
