With a slow steady approach, Yin Yoga floor postures are held passively, with awareness and breath, for several minutes in order to increase the natural mobility of joints, calm the nervous system and nourish the organs. Energetically, Yin Yoga opens the body’s meridian system, refreshing the body’s energetic flow and with mindfulness fosters emotional equilibrium. From this still, deep and quiet yoga there is room for self exploration and discovery.
