Health and wellness are driven by education, activity and first-hand experience. The pelvic floor is a vital region in every person’s body. It’s design and structure support movement and act as an energy exchange on many levels. Becoming familiar with your body’s habits can help you recognize natural changes. This workshop is much more than Kegels and will help you find foundation and freedom through the pelvic floor.

This two-hour workshop, offered to people who identify as women, will help:

  • locate, relax, stretch, strengthen and exercise the various muscle groups of the pelvic floor, hips, and lower abdominals
  • learn how to integrate this newly discovered awareness into daily movements and yoga asana (postures)
  • explore introductory breathing techniques and experience yoga postures using supportive props
  • discuss basic hip and pelvic floor anatomy and the 3 diaphragms

No previous yoga experience is required.

When: Friday, Jan. 29th 5:30 – 7:30 pm, Flexible Pricing: $30 / 40 / 50, Sign Up Online
