Pranayama & Restorative Yoga to Soothe the Nervous System with Martha Whitney
Restorative Yoga promotes relaxation. With the use of supportive props, including bolsters, folded blankets, and eye pillows, you can easefully sustain poses that allow time to release habitual tension and settle the busy mind. This workshop will focus on specific postures and breathing practices (pranayama) that soothe the nervous system, calm the stress response and foster your body’s natural capacity to relax.
