Yoga Wall: Release Hips and Lower Back with Michelle Downing
Do you have constant tension in your hips or lower back? Do you sometimes find these areas are difficult to stretch on your own, even with a consistent yoga practice? If so, this workshop is for you! Lead by Michelle Downing, physical therapist and registered yoga instructor, this class will focus on opening up areas of tension in the hips and lower back with use of the yoga wall. The use of straps and slings helps to guide your body into the right position, supports your body in the right places, and can provide traction to decrease compression, leading to increased motion in the hips and lumbar spine. You will leave with an improved understanding of how to maintain mobility in these areas through consistent yoga practice.
This workshop is led by physical therapist/yoga instructor Michelle Downing DPT, RYT with specific advanced training on using the Yoga Wall.
