Pranayama, Nadis, and Bandhas
This two hour workshop will introduce students to the energetic body and how to use pranayama to shift blocked energy and create awakening. Students will explore the energy blueprint of the body through the lens of nadis (energy lines). Students will also be introduced to the basic manipulation of bandhas (energy locks) within the nadi system. The basic breathing techniques of hatha/raja yoga will be taught as means to awaken the energy system. The ultimate goal of all of the techniques is to arrive in awareness and connection to the Self and have experiences of peace and dynamic interconnectivity. Students with all levels of experience are encouraged to join; this workshop will be helpful for those new to these practices as well as those with experience with pranayama and energetic practices.
