Evolution PT and Yoga Studio Office Manager
Finding yoga first as a way to work through everyday stress, Sasha did not expect the spiritual connection she has formed with her yoga practice. She continues to deepen her self-understanding and introspection through her yoga practice. Her education includes Yoga Alliance 200 hour Yoga Teacher program with Evolution PT and Yoga in 2019 and a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Vermont in 2013. Since then she has worked with a range of populations as a medical assistant and nurse aide. Sasha incorporates helpful cues and modifications for students. She brings grounded, radiant energy to each session–meeting you with thoughtful, gentle sweetness and kindness. For Sasha, yoga asana (poses) are a tool to gain body awareness. By pairing breath with movement, we can work toward connecting mind and body. In her free time she enjoys hiking with her partner and their two dogs.
Her training included creating inclusive spaces for diverse populations, including those with limited mobility, experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, and prenatal/postnatal yoga.
