Tamasin Kekic, OTR/L, CBIS, RYT-200
Tamasin is a licensed Occupational Therapist who graduated in May 2020 from the Evolution 200-Hour Teacher Training for Healthcare Providers. She was very happy to find the Evolution Yoga Teacher training not only to explore her own yoga practice in more diverse ways, but to further integrate the science of yoga as a therapeutic modality for the wellness of mind, body, and spirit. Tamasin is inspired by the journey of learning through Yoga teachings and physical practices that can contribute to lifelong resilience and wellness. Due to the many unusual circumstances of 2020, Tamasin has begun teaching Yoga in an online Zoom format and is looking forward to expanding her offerings for private and group instruction.
Tamasin recently completed the Love Your Brain Yoga Teacher training to help support accessible Yoga and meditation practices to those affected by Brain Injuries and is currently enrolled in the LifeForce Yoga Practitioner Level 1 program with a focus on assisting clients and yoga students in recognizing and balancing mood states for mental and physical wellness through Asana and Pranayama techniques.
When not practicing yoga, Tamasin cherishes restorative time spent in the Adirondack mountains and lakes with her husband Nicholas and two teenage daughters; Gwendylan and Hazel, and their dog Olive.
