Yoga for Spring: Nurturing Seeds of AwakeningTweet
In Touching Peace, Thich Nhat Hanh writes, “The quality of our life depends on the quality of the seeds in our consciousness.” As humans, we experience seeds of all kinds including suffering, happiness, joy, sorrow, fear, anger and courage. While we cannot control what thoughts arise, we can choose how we relate to our thoughts. This workshop is designed to offer students space to recognize what seeds may be heavily watered in their own minds and bodies and empower them to sew seeds to create more ease-full living. We will use the tools of pranayama, meditation, asana, loving-kindness and writing. Please bring a journal if you use one.
