There is a misconception that yoga is for a specific body type. Have you been hesitant to attend a class because of your weight, shape, or doubt in your ability to do it “the right way”? Have you struggled with an eating disorder, disordered eating, or body/self-image? If so, this 6-week series is for you. We will practice gentle and restorative yoga in a safe, non-judgmental environment while exploring modifications that support you. Gentle and restorative yoga gives you space to let go so you can relax and explore what lies beneath the exterior. This series is designed to gently open you to your divine nature through yoga, breathing, relaxation, and writing. You are welcome to participate in weekly journal assignments and readings, allowing you to begin subtly shifting thought patterns and limited beliefs that hold you back. Tap into your inner strength and ignite your own power through yoga.
