Yoga on the Lake and in the Park Class Info

We are are now offering 15 outdoor yoga classes per week! Starting August 5th we are back out on the Sailing Center Dock Mon-Sat mornings and Waterworks Park Monday and Thursdays at 7:15 with Devon and Tuesday evening for Men’s Yoga with Adam.  In addition, we offer three evening classes at Oakledge Park and Yoga classes in Smalley Park this summer!  Click here for our full weekly schedule. Classes start June 15th and run through the end of September.  All sites offer ample room for social distancing while allowing us to offer in-person classes again. In order to ensure safety, we are asking all of you to do your part to social distance. There is plenty of room in the park and on the dock to spread out for even more space than required by the state. We will have check-in staff to help with set-up and for screening. Our teachers will be using a microphone and a speaker to help everyone hear the instructor and spread out.
Please read below for important information on attending classes.
Yoga on the Lake at the Lake Champlain Community Sailing Center
  • Limited to 30 students, students must pre-register online
  • Complete the COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire before leaving for each class (included in your confirmation email)
  • The Sailing Center has moved its dock directly in front of their building. Enter through the Sailing Center parking lot. Please note there is no access to their building and please do not park in their lot, but use the metered parking. Parking is free in the mornings. Follow this link for directions.
  • Observe social distancing at all times (make sure you are at least 6 feet or about a mat length distance away from others!)
  • Check-in with Staff before proceeding to class
  • Wear a mask at your comfort level. 
  • Go before you go! No bathroom access at the lake.
  • BYOP! Bring your own props
  • If it is raining our morning classes will be held online. You will receive an email from the instructor by 6:15 am on the day of the morning class. You will receive a zoom link when you register for the class. This is the link we will use if the class is put online.
Yoga at Oakledge Park
  • Location: As you enter Oakledge Park, take a right onto the bike path. We will be set-up between the paddleboard rentals and earth clock. Look for our flag.
  • Please pre-register online to help facilitate contact-less and smooth check-in.

  • Check-in with Staff upon arrival
  • Observe social distancing at all times (make sure you are a mat length distance away from others!)
  • Wear a mask at your comfort level.

Smalley Park 

  • Located at the junction of Kilburn St and St. Paul
  • Ample room for yoga on the grass
  • Bring props for Kaiut with Caroline on Friday mornings. She may have you use the trees for legs up the wall
  • Park at Evolution or on St. Paul or Kilburn St.
